Country duo Maddie & Tae will headline the SAA Fall Concert at 5 p.m. Sept. 22, the Ole Miss Student Activity Association announced Thursday.

The Country Music Association Awards-winning pair will perform the free-admission show in the Grove alongside fellow country acts Annie Bosko and Just Jayne.

Funding for the concert and other SAA activities comes from the Student Activities Fund.

Maddie & Tae have two Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 hits with “Girl in a Country Song” and “Die from a Broken Heart.” They have released two studio albums and six extended plays, with one more, “What A Woman Can Do,” releasing on Sept. 13.

Fans of Maddie & Tae and Ole Miss students commented on SAA’s announcement on Instagram.

“SAA ISNT PLAYING AROUND THIS YEARRRRRRRR,” @makayla.russell wrote.

The duo looks to have a strong turn out, with fans sharing that they plan to attend.

“I’ll definitely check it out,” Melanie Davis, a senior communication sciences and disorders major, said.
