While some people may not realize it, this Saturday marks Tartan Day, a North American holiday that celebrates Scottish Heritage. Tartan Day is similar to the 4th of July in America, as it celebrates the Scottish Declaration of Independence, from which America’s Founding Fathers may have drawn inspiration.
