With Ole Miss Football’s rise in popularity in recent years, purchasing student season tickets can be difficult. Here are answers to common questions surrounding student football tickets, plus new concession options available to football fans this season.
How does Ole Miss sell student tickets?
Ole Miss Athletics sold student section season tickets for $175, plus a $75 donation just before classes began. Ole Miss Athletics sent an email to students informing them of instructions, purchase dates and times to secure season tickets.
A student’s time slot to buy the ticket was based on classification in Experience. Seniors and graduate students got top priority, juniors were next, sophomores were third and freshmen were last. Student season tickets from athletics are now sold out, and students still looking for tickets will need to buy them off secondary markets.
How do I safely buy from secondary sellers?
If students were unable to get season tickets, a common practice is to buy tickets from listings on social media such as Instagram or Snapchat. This is a dangerous method that should be avoided. It is easy to get scammed out of money or tickets when selling on social media. For example, a student could pay an individual for a ticket electronically and never receive the ticket.
Ole Miss is partnered with SeatGeek, a secondary ticket platform, meaning individuals who buy tickets from Ole Miss Athletics can resell them on the site. Buying from SeatGeek is much safer than relying on social media because, with SeatGeek’s ticket protection, any confirmed purchase is guaranteed.
Ole Miss is also partnered with secondary ticket platform SeatStock, as announced in a Sept. 9 email. SeatStock functions similarly to SeatGeek, but is limited to student section tickets, as a student email address is required.
Tickets for Saturday’s game against Charlotte are as low as $37, as of publication. The site also offers tickets for away games.
How do I access my ticket?
All tickets bought from athletics are sent from OleMisstix@olemiss.edu. Students can add tickets from their emails to their Apple or Google Pay wallets. After that, all a student will need to do for admission is open his or her digital wallet, select the proper ticket and present it at the student entrance to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

How do I sell my tickets?
SeatStock and SeatGeek are the best ways to sell tickets. To do so, a student must create an account, list the ticket and will then receive the payment 5-8 days after the event.
To transfer a ticket, a student will have to enter the student email of the individual meant to receive the ticket on the Ole Miss Athletics website. Then, the transferee will receive an email to accept the transfer.
Will selling tickets impact my ability to buy tickets in later seasons?
Yes, Ole Miss Athletics prohibits season ticket purchases to those “with no intent to use the tickets or with the primary intent of reselling the tickets for profit.” Athletics will mark students who transfer tickets for five or more games as broker or reseller accounts, and those individuals risk losing the ability to purchase season student tickets for any future season. Students can appeal the decision.
What else should I know?
Students cannot leave and come back into the student section. Staying the entire game is a great way to show support for the Rebels.
Any ticket with a barcode will not be accepted. All student tickets are near-field communication, which is contactless communication that makes entry into the stadium smoother.
For the first time students can buy concessions using Flex or Ole Miss Express from the GET app. All they have to do is place an order on GET, select one of three stands — N4, N6 or N10 — and pick up their food or drinks.
