Jack Turrentine was crowned as the 2026 Mr. Ole Miss after a runoff election on Thursday, Oct. 8. Turrentine is a senior public policy leadership and rhetoric major from Knoxville, Tenn.
“I ran this campaign on the support that people have given me and the love that people have given me, and said that I wanted to have the opportunity to give that back and that’s what this position was,” Turrentine said. “Now that I have this position, I have eight months to … pour back into this community an entirely new way. I can’t be anything but excited about that.”

The Class Favorites were also announced at the runoff elections and are as follows: Stella Allen, Caroline Dedmon, Myers Foxworth, Alexis Renee Heath, Maia Holden, Meril Lagasse, Meredith Lovitt, Reese Plumlee, Emma Simpson and Ella Grace Young.
The Class Favorites were originally going to be announced on the first election day, Tuesday, Oct. 6. However, the results were delayed due to a prolonged appeals process, according to Associated Student Body Attorney General Lucy Allen.
“We just had a lot of election hearings on Tuesday that, when you’re going through the appeals process, it takes a second,” Allen said. “We, while working through the process, just had to delay the results until we confirmed everything.”
