Decked out in the familiar red, white and blue outfits that decorate game days, students attended the Student Activity Association’s 2024 fall concert on Sept. 22 in the Grove.

Country music duo Maddie & Tae headlined the SAA 2024 fall concert alongside openers Annie Bosko and Just Jayne.

As fans waved light up sticks in the crowd, Maddie & Tae took the stage around 7:30 p.m.

Navy Eriksson, a sophomore biology major, was excited about the free concert returning after a hiatus last year.

“I’m excited about having the free concert back this year,” Eriksson said. “This is my first time going, and it was a lot of fun experiencing live music in the Grove.”

Eriksson shared that the crowd enjoyed the show.

“Everyone was singing along and dancing,” Eriksson said. “There were also several people just passing through the Grove who stopped to listen for a while throughout the show.”
