How you can help Oxford get a Waffle House

Eliza NoebyEliza Noe

After a year-long campaign that took over Ole Miss twitter for much of the 2018-2019 school year, Waffle House may finally come to Oxford.

Does your city not have a glowing yellow sign yet? We have decided to reward one lucky city who doesn't have a WH with a visit from us during National Waffle Week (Sept. 2-6)!

Vote below or comment your suggestion. The winner will be chosen tomorrow on #NationalWaffleDay

— Waffle House (@WaffleHouse) August 23, 2019

Official Waffle House social media accounts announced the contest early this morning, with a twitter poll for followers reaching over 11,000 votes in three hours. Oxford is competing with College Station, Texas, and San Antonio, Texas.

The winner of the contest will be announced tomorrow, and restaurant representatives will visit the winning city during National Waffle Week from Sept. 2-6.
