The 2026 Double Decker Arts Festival features a lineup of musical artists ranging from globally recognized artists to local Southern musicians. In total, this festival will feature 10 musical acts from a variety of genres. Here is your playlist to prepare for Double Decker’s quickly approaching start.
The festival will kick off on Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. with a performance by Penelope Road, an Atlanta-based band that brings a bold, soulful edge to modern indie rock. Listen to the band’s 2024 hit “Tired of Love.” It features a unique blend of elements from 1970s rock ‘n’ roll, funk, soul and pop that feels both fresh and nostalgic.
Grammy-nominated husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. One of its most popular songs, “Are You Ready to Love Me?,” features stunning vocals set to a rollicking, upbeat tune that will bring you to your feet.
Next, Shane Smith and The Saints are set to perform at 9 p.m. on Friday. This band, based in Austin, Texas, has captivated listeners with music influenced by country, folk and roadhouse rock ‘n’ roll. Its song “All I See is You” features a narrator who is continually reminded of his wife while performing everyday activities. The aching lyrics are heightened by colorful, catchy orchestration, producing an enjoyable, impactful listening experience.
Annie and the Caldwells will hit the stage on Saturday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. This band is made up of a family from West Point, Miss., who plays powerful disco soul. Its song “I Made It” blends funky, punchy gospel music with defiant lyrics, proclaiming victory over Satan.

At 1 p.m. on Saturday, The Animeros will begin its set, flaunting a musical style reminiscent of the dusty cantinas of West Texas. Its song “Terlingua” consists of fast-paced drumbeats and stunning guitar riffs that will make you feel like the main character in a Western film.
At 4 p.m., The Heavy Heavy, a U.K.-based band, will take the stage. Its song “Go Down River” is a fan-favorite with a swinging rhythm and a style that puts a soulful touch on rock ‘n’ roll.
The Dip will perform at 5:30 p.m. Based in Seattle, the band combines funk, rhythm and blues to create a refreshing sound that blends the warmth of vintage soul with modern songwriting. The result is perfect for dancing. “Sure Don’t Miss You,” is the recommended track from The Dip, a catchy tune about getting over an ex-lover, with bright vocals and engaging orchestration.
At 7 p.m., Grammy nominee Margo Price will perform. Based in Nashville, she takes classic country to a new level. Her song “Hurtin’ (On the Bottle)” showcases her impressive vocal range with a swinging, Southern beat.
The final act in the festival’s lineup is Wilco at 8:30 p.m. This eclectic indie rock band based in Chicago has endured through over two decades of popularity — and for good reason. Its song “Jesus, Etc.” is warm and melodic, with quietly devastating lyrics that resonate long after the song is over.
