Ole Miss Baseball announced its conference schedule for 2027. The Rebels finished the 2026 season seventh in the country with a College World Series appearance after going 15-15 in SEC play.
Ole Miss is set to face intimidating opponents — Alabama, who went to the 2026 CWS, and Oklahoma, who won the 2026 College World Series.
Conference play opens at home on March 19 against the SEC championship runner-up Arkansas. The Rebels then head to their first road challenge in Nashville to take on Vanderbilt on March 25 in a Thursday-Saturday series.

April brings four crucial matchups to keep circled. The month opens with a rematch versus in-state rival Mississippi State. The Bulldogs took all four contests last year, including the Governor’s Cup. The Rebels will head to Starville, Miss., and look to take the series beginning on April 2.
South Carolina ended last season unranked, but they signed new head coach Kevin Schnall from Coastal Carolina, making the April 9-11 home matchup against the Gamecocks more daunting.
Schnall coached two years for the Chanticleers and became the fourth-ever first-year coach to lead his team to Omaha in 2025, and notably beat Ole Miss 9-2 at the Bruce Bolt Classic last season.
The Rebels challenge their other primary rival in Baton Rouge, La., on April 16. Ole Miss swept LSU at home last year. LSU did not make the 64-team NCAA tournament following its 2025 national title but just welcomed the top recruiting class in the nation featuring 10 top 100 prospects.
Finally, to close out this difficult stretch, Ole Miss will host fellow 2026 Omaha participant Alabama on April 23. They stay at Swayze the next weekend to square off against Missouri before traveling to Auburn from May 7-9.
Their last regular home series will welcome the defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners beginning on May 14, and they take on the country’s third-best signing class in Texas A&M on the road to close out the season from May 20-22.
The SEC Baseball Tournament begins on Tuesday, May 25 and ends on Sunday, May 30.
